
| Greg Herzog is the founder Of HBT and has been a pioneer in the Health and Fitness business for over two decades. He has been a celebrity trainer to Naomi Campbell, Harvery Keitel, David Geffen and Neil Sedaka to name a few. As a world class track and field athlete, Greg broke the 4 minute mile in 1983 and was ranked 30th in the world, among U.S. additions. (In 2005, Fortune Magazine documented the four-minute mile as the greatest athletic achievement.). He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and has also attended Auburn University and UCLA with a background in Exercise Physiology, Sports Psychology and a National Certification in Sports Nutrition and weight management. Personally trained by Arthur Jones, the creator of Nautilus, Herzog has brought High Intensity Strength Training, used by professional athletes like the Washington Redskins, Houston Texans and Olympic athletes to another level, with AXIS CORE® Total Body Conditioning, his specialized modality enhancement training method, and improved upon Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Stretching, through his methods of physics with ARS AXIS RELEASE STRETCHING™ Yoga. method. Greg has logged more than 500 hours of research with Dr. Susan Himmelstein at the Graduate School of Pepperdine University, and has worked directly with Deb Giffen, the director of Executive Programs at the Wharton School's Aresty Institute of Executive Education. |
| Additionally, Greg competed with the British National Team on the European Track & Field Circuit for Reebok and was the Assistant Cross Country and Track and Field coach at Pepperdine University, and the Head Track and Field coach at Pleasantville High School. As a certified trainer and conditioning specialist, he has worked with Olympic athletes, as well as individuals, from the ages 5 to 92 years of age over the last twenty years. Some of his clients have included the Fords, Astors and Rockefellers. He is also the author of the acclaimed “The 15 Minute Executive Stress-Relief Program” published by Putnam, and has served as a consultant to the media, on CBS This Morning, Good Day New York, The KTLA Morning Show, with articles appearing in Self, GQ, Men’s Health, New York Post, Glamour, W, Avenue, as well as numerous national radio programs. |
| In addition, Greg has created a 21st century self-coaching, mental, physical, emotional and nutritional conditioning system, to find your own process for learning with behavior modification, using a mathematical equation, to not only predict, but also change behavior and thus performance, by providing a psychological structure, or vehicle for arranging information, in relation to a question, so that the answer, or course of action is made clear, to help you create a personal map, to bridge the gap from intention to achievement. Greg is very excited about the 21st century self-coaching conditioning. He truly believes this modality enhancement conditioning system will be the “Personal Trainer of the Future”, not limited to diet and exercise, but a tool for learning, performance and psychology as well. He has also created a software process for the internet, soon to be released, along with a book series, that will bring diet, exercise and conditioning to the next level into the 21st century. |
